Pam began her career when she was 16 as a CAN working her way up to into orthopedic nursing. Following a back injury that limited her capabilities in that field, she took her passion for working with mentally and physically challenged people and moved into serving in that capacity.
Her passion in the field is about caring for the whole person and not just a single symptom. Noting one example, she shares, “While providing care giving hours, I took a client out to eat to get them out of their house, client was so excited as they hadn't had Chinese food in over five years.” It’s moments like these make her appreciate all the freedoms of being able to get out and about on my own yet and to not take anything for granted.

We’re gonna get through this together" and she started to cry and she told me I really needed that today."
